Plans are afoot for the trip to Dubai, which will be taking place next week 15th Nov to 20th inclusive.
In the meantime on the homefront we are preparing for the installation of our new kitchen, I am trying to sand the parquet floor with a band sander, dusty work. After I return from Dubai, work on the kitchen will pick up some pace before all the cash runs out!

The draining is complete well 96% complete, we have to tarmac around the drain at the garage, but the major work is complete, so we have new sewerage and drainage pipes now and a garden that looks like the Somme did.
Incuded in the drainage is polystyrene insulation on the outside of the wall, apparently it saves heating costs and improves drainage, we also found the old door to the then bicycle room it had been closed and plastered in from both sides, so that had to be bricked up. The only other fun was when they dug up our electrical cable we get our electricity under ground level no air cables here only for the telephone, anyway they dug up the cable and the fuses blew in the street fuse box, we were the only house affected, I called in the local power company who repaired it in time for me to save the food in the freezer, the builders paid for the charges which they probably passed on to me anyway.

The renault is running well after getting a new cambelt, I can get more than 1200 Km out of a 60 litre fill which costs about 60 euros a week, I only have to change to winter tyres and it will be all set for the winter weather.

Thats it for now more later.
