A new year and a new job, or a return to an old job would br more correct. No more selling charts for the time being, and no more commuting 100 miles a day in a semi-battered Renault Megane diesel, now its back to the ocean waves to 4 weeks out and 4 weeks home, and we can edge back from the chasm of economic disaster.
The new job is Chief Mate on the good ship oil tanker MT Fure Nord, newly built in 2004 so she's a pleasure to work on. Will be going out again next week 24th or 25th of January for a 4 week stint. Will keep you posted.
